Tennis Anyone?

Book Nine in the Sophie Washington series is almost ready for release, and I can’t wait to share it with you! The book has been edited and the illustrations are complete, and now it’s in the process of being formatted for actual print books. A few weeks ago, I hinted that Sophie would be playing a sport in this story, and a few of you guessed it, she’s playing tennis on the Xavier Academy team! 

Tennis is a sport dear to my heart because I played all through high school (I was my high school team MVP) and into adulthood until a knee injury benched me a few years ago. 

Look for lots of fun in this one, and a few surprises! I’ll keep you updated on the book’s progress and will be taking part in a special Summer Soiree Houston-area celebration at Sweets in the Sky bakery on August 10, along with another bestselling children’s author, Danielle Metcalfe-Chenail. We’ll have books, sweet treats, and some special guests, so hope to see you there!
